Temple was written in a burst — a song a week, sketched out at home in the early months of 2015, during the first year of fatherhood. From there it travelled to Nashville — produced by Foreign Fields' Brian Holl and Eric Hillman, some of the best weeks I've spent making music. Mixed by Ruadhri Cushnan and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road. Released on Communion Records in April 2016.

The artwork came from painter Ben Risk, whose painting Site of Special Interest — an abandoned red hunting lodge — felt immediately right for an album called Temple. It led to a photo series with photographer Dave Watts, shooting abandoned locations across Devon, Cornwall and the South-East — those images are included in the sleeve.
